Su Ts'ai Tang 85 ml Sesame oil
Sm. cabbage, fine chop
2 x Sm. carrots, diced
2 md Potatoes, peeled & diced
Green pepper, diced
Red pepper, diced
2 x Onions, sliced
120 g Tofu, diced
900 ml Strong vegetable stock
Salt and pepper to taste
Heat the sesame oil, throw in all the veggies and tofu, saute for a few mins. Add the vegetable stock and simmer for 20 mins. Taste and adjust the seasonings. This is a steaming hot vegetable stew eaten in the winter. Make sure that the sesame oil is of high quality and really flavours the stew. You can also roast and grind sesame seeds & add them at the beginning of cooking.
